Grzegorz Rut is a Senior Data Scientist at Genuine Parts Company since June 2023, previously holding a similar position at Verisk from November 2020 to May 2023, where contributions included developing regression and classification models for the insurance industry in the UK. Prior experience includes data science roles at CRIF, focusing on credit scoring in the German market, and a part-time consultancy with XGRut in financial research. Grzegorz served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Jagiellonian University from September 2015 to February 2019, conducting research on graphene systems and advising a PhD student while also coordinating a funded research project. Additional roles include data science positions at Close Brothers Premium Finance and Science to Data Science, along with earlier experiences as a freelance Mathematica programmer and financial analyst. Grzegorz holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and an MS in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, both from Jagiellonian University.
