Robert Ford is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property law. Currently serving as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Gentherm since September 2019, Robert previously held positions as Associate General Counsel & Intellectual Property Counsel at the same company and as Assistant General Counsel at Dura Automotive from May 2015 to August 2019, focusing on patents, copyrights, trademarks, litigation, agreements, and disputes. Robert's prior experience includes serving as Patent Attorney and Manager of Intellectual Property at Nissan Technical Center North America from July 2003 to May 2015, where responsibilities included patent prosecution and strategic portfolio development. Robert began a legal career as a law clerk at HDP from August 2000 to February 2002 and worked as an engineer at Visteon from 1996 to 1999.
