Maj Zaheda, WELL AP, currently serves as a Design Manager at Gensler since June 2024. Previously, Maj Zaheda held the position of Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Ware Malcomb from December 2018 to June 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Architectural Designer at Sawyer | Berson Architecture & Landscape Architecture, LLP and Pembrooke & Ives. Additional experience encompasses Architectural Designer positions at Corgan and as a designer at Giuliani Architects. Earlier in the career, Maj Zaheda was a lecturer at North South University and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Summer Orientation Leader at Virginia Tech. Maj Zaheda began the professional journey as a Summer Design Intern at the Smithsonian Institution. Maj Zaheda holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Construction Management from Northern Virginia Community College.
