David Munt has been an experienced professional in the software engineering and consulting industry since 1981. David began as an Independent Consultant, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Consultant. In 1988, they joined PA Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant and then moved to Sagentia in 1990, where they held the same role. In 1992, they took on the role of Strategy Consultant at StratX. Finally, in 1994, they founded and became the Managing Director of GenSight, where they created the GenSight software platform. David has been managing the platform for 25 years, during which it has become the world leading platform for managing large-scale portfolios of R&D and innovation programs.

David Munt has a varied educational background. David completed a BSc in Electronic Engineering from Brunel University London in 1981. David then attended the University of Westminster and obtained an MBA in Business Strategy, Innovation & Finance in 1988. In the same year, they also obtained a DipM in Marketing Strategy from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 1993, they completed a Leadership Programme from INSEAD in Business.
