Lotta Ljungqvist is an accomplished leader in the life sciences sector, currently serving as a board director for multiple organizations, including NorthX Biologics, BioLamina AB, BioArctic, and Genovis, since May 2022 and earlier. Lotta holds the position of Chairperson of the Board for SwedenBIO, a national association for the life science industry in Sweden, until May 2024. Lotta has a strong background in innovation, having served on the board of Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency, until June 2023, and was CEO of Cytiva's Testa Center from April 2020 to April 2022. Lotta Ljungqvist earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1980 and 1990.
