Daniele Rizzo has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. From 2008 to 2011 they were a Senior Business and Financial Controller at ARCA S.p.A., where they were responsible for activities related to the sale of a business branch and the creation of a new independent company. In 2011 they joined KPMG as an IT Auditor and Advisor, where they performed activities in IT Audit and Advisory, such as analyzing systems, designing and performing application controls, mapping processes and assessing risks. From 2008 to 2017 they were a Collaborator for the development of internal tools and applications at Omnia Studio S.r.l., and from 2015 to 2017 they were a Responsible Administrator at Merlo SpA. Daniele currently holds the role of CFO at GenomeUp, a Rome-based healthtech startup, where they are responsible for developing bioinformatics tools and protocols to make data and metadata traceable, accessible, interoperable and reusable.
Daniele Rizzo completed their Laurea in Economia Aziendale from Università degli Studi di Parma in 2008. From 2006-2007, they attended Universidade do Minho and studied Economia e Gestão. During this time, they also obtained a Certificato di Lingua Portoghese avanzata and a Lingua Spagnola per Economia & Turismo from the same institution. Prior to this, they attended University of Limerick to develop and recover their English language skills. Lastly, they completed a Diploma di Perito Informatico with a specialization in Informatica Industriale from Istituto Tecnico Informatico "Pacinotti" between 1996-2001.
