Clio Andreae has worked in the field of microbiology since 2009. Clio began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Exeter, where they worked on the opportunistic pathogen Burkholderia cenocepacia. In 2014, they moved to the University of Bristol, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on Neisseria meningitidis. In 2017, they joined Charles River Laboratories as a Senior Scientist, where they worked to accelerate the development and efficacy testing of novel antimicrobial compounds and vaccines. Clio is currently working as a Senior Scientist at GenomeKey.
Clio Andreae completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons) - Biology at the University of Exeter from 2007 to 2010. Clio then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - Biological Sciences in Molecular Microbiology from the same university from 2010 to 2014.
