Manish Gupta has extensive work experience in the field of pharmacology and clinical development. Manish is currently serving as the Senior Vice President & Head of Translational and Quantitative Sciences at Genmab since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President & Head of Pharmacology at Genmab from March 2018 to May 2023. Before joining Genmab, Manish worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as the Group Director of Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics from November 2011 to March 2018. Manish led a group supporting the development of ImmunoOncology and Antibody-Drug Conjugates. Manish also supported the original BLA submission and approvals for Nivolumab and Elotuzumab.
Manish's previous experience includes working at Genentech, Inc. as the Pharmacometrics Group Lead for BioOncology from April 2007 to November 2011. While at Genentech, they led the pharmacometrics group supporting the BioOncology and Immunology portfolio. Manish was also involved in the late-stage clinical development and BLA submission of the trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) program.
Manish's career in the pharmaceutical industry started at Pfizer, Inc. in 2006, where they worked in the Clinical Pharmacology department. Prior to that, they worked as a Pharmacometrics specialist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2004 to 2006.
Manish Gupta has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Prior to this, they completed their B. Pharm (Hons) degree in Pharmacy from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
