Jessica McDaniel, PhD has a diverse work experience. Jessica started their career as a Summer Undergraduate Research Intern at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2007. Jessica then worked as a Research Intern at Ponce School of Medicine in 2009. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Graduate Student-Cancer Biology Research at Moffitt Cancer Center, where they conducted research on immunomodulatory drugs and presented their findings at national meetings. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Licensing Analyst at The Ohio State University, where they assessed the novelty and viability of invention disclosures. Jessica then joined Celgene in 2013 as a Senior Medical Science Liaison, where they established relationships with key opinion leaders and supported the launch of multiple oncology treatments. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director and Head of US Field Medical Affairs at Genmab, where they have been responsible for building and managing the field medical affairs team, developing strategies to support medical plans, and facilitating product launches.
Jessica McDaniel, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Marietta College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Jessica then went on to pursue their PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of South Florida, completing their doctoral studies from 2008 to 2012. During their time at the University of South Florida, they also earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property in 2012.
