Gregg Ashby is an experienced finance executive currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Genevant Sciences since December 2020, following a role as Senior Director of Finance at the same company. Prior to this, Gregg held the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Renewal Funds, a mission-driven venture capital fund focused on sustainability. Previous experience includes a Senior Director of Finance role at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation, where the focus was on developing therapies for chronic hepatitis B. Gregg has also served as Director of Finance at Motivus Software Ltd., Group Controller at GPS Industries, and held various audit positions at EY and Kidsons. Educational qualifications include CPA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in British Columbia, Chartered Accountant designation from ICAEW, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business Studies from Aston University.
