Bertrand Adanve, Ph.D has a varied work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Builder for a residential construction entrepreneur. In 2009, they became a Teaching Assistant at St. Mary's College of Maryland. From 2010-2015, they held the positions of Research Fellow and Teaching Associate at Columbia University in the City of New York. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company. Since 2017, they have been the Founder & CEO of Genetic Leap.

Bertrand Adanve, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry and Bioengineering from Columbia University between 2010 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland between 2006 and 2010.
