Peter Halfinger is a seasoned IT professional with over 15 years of experience in data center infrastructure. Currently serving as Principal Cloud Engineer at Genesys since May 2021, Peter has facilitated the successful transition of products from LogMeIn's on-premises data centers to AWS cloud. Prior to Genesys, Peter held various roles at LogMeIn from April 2004 to May 2021, including Engineering Fellow and Senior Director of Data Center Operations, where responsibilities included shaping infrastructure strategy and overseeing the design and implementation of multiple data centers worldwide. Peter's earlier experience includes positions as IT Consultant at GE Energy and Network Operations Manager at Vivendi Universal, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Eötvös Loránd University.
