Emily Heyl, LPC, NCC, has extensive experience in mental health therapy, currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Genesis Medical Associates, Inc. since May 2016, providing compassionate and ethical therapeutic interventions. Prior roles include Licensed Outpatient Therapist III and Family Based Therapist at Wesley Spectrum, where Emily delivered individual and family therapy and home-based services to families facing dysfunction. Professional training includes school counseling internships at Pine-Richland and North Allegheny School Districts, where Emily focused on direct services, group counseling, and educational guidance for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Emily holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Duquesne University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from La Roche University.
