Simon Hurricks has extensive experience in vibration analysis and balancing, having worked at Genesis Energy since February 1971 in roles such as Machine Dynamics Engineer and Predictive Maintenance Engineer. Prior to this, Simon served as an Engineering Officer at NZED from February 1971 to July 1980. Simon holds a New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (NZCE) from the Central Institute of Technology in Wellington, earned between 1972 and 1974, and completed secondary education at Marlborough Boys' College, obtaining a B Bursary from 1966 to 1970.
