Krassimir Markov is an experienced professional in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as the Head of the Risk Engineering Department at Generali since April 2015, with previous roles including Risk Engineer, Chief Special Claims Handler, and Part-time Claims Handler and Claims Controller. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Claims Manager and Expert in Property Claims Handling at ZAD VICTORIA from June 2009 to December 2015, and as an Insurance Agent at BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP from November 2005 to June 2009. Krassimir holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with a specialization in Insurance from D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Safety from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy. Educational background also includes a Professional High School diploma in Transport and Energy from Henry Ford High School, Sofia, Bulgaria.
