Mary Whalen has over 30 years of professional experience. Mary began their career in 1986 at Accenture/Andersen Consulting where they held roles as Senior Executive, Project Manager, Senior Consultant, Business Analyst, and Developer. During their time there, they were responsible for the initiative that resulted in the first US Accenture organization to achieve level 3 within the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Mary also received mentor of the year awards. In 2012, they moved on to become President of Whalen Consulting. Most recently, they have been the CFO of General Probiotics, Inc. since 2017.

Mary Whalen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of North Dakota between 1981 and 1985.
