Jorge Stone is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in logistics and information management across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Global Logistics IT Director at General Motors since August 2013, Jorge has held multiple leadership roles including Chief Information Officer for GM South America and GM Mexico, where responsibilities included oversight of IT strategies and operations. Prior experience includes serving as Information Management Director at Grupo Bimbo, where Jorge managed Data & Analytics governance and business intelligence initiatives, as well as PMO Manager roles at both Grupo Bimbo and Softtek, overseeing project management methodologies and portfolios. Jorge began their career in software development and project leadership at e-Strategia Consulting Group and Softtek, showcasing a robust foundation in technology and management. Jorge holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with additional studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
