Tulsi Patel is an experienced professional in the field of education quality assurance, currently serving as the Education Quality Assurance Programme Manager and Education Quality Analyst at the General Medical Council since September 2019. In this role, Tulsi focuses on the statutory regulation and quality assurance of UK medical education and training for medical students and physicians, including the integration of education quality assurance for Physicians and Anaesthetic Associate Professions into regulation. Prior to this, Tulsi held the position of Quality Assurance Lead at the University of Westminster's Business School and served as a Training Officer at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Tulsi's career also includes various roles within the NHS from October 2009 to March 2014, contributing a diverse background in educational quality and training.
