Tim Schuh has over 25 years of experience in the IT field. Tim began their career in 1995 as a Support Technician for OnRamp Technologies, where they fulfilled roles as first line technical support, dedicated support and Webmaster to customers on multiple platforms. In 1997, they joined NTT/Verio as an ISS Engineer, where they were responsible for building and managing network infrastructure, configuring and managing HP c7000-based solutions for internal infrastructure, and supporting Cisco 7206VXR routers/packet filters and Cisco Catalyst 6509 switches in a multi-Virtual LAN environment. In 2005, Tim joined The Planet as an Application Systems Engineer. Tim then moved to Terremark in 2006, where they worked as an Architecture & Integrations (Infrastructure) - Sr. Systems Engineer and a Monitoring Services - Sr. Systems Engineer. In 2012, they became an IT Contractor for Circuit of The Americas. In 2013, Tim joined VMware as a DevOps Systems Engineer and a Sr. OSS Engineer, where they developed automated migration from legacy password repository into Thycotic Secret Server, deployed Thycotic Secret Server with MS SQL 2012 AlwaysOn Availability Group for High Availability, developed Powershell scripts to conduct performance and reliability testing of Secret Server, and pioneered the deployment of Zenoss in the vCloud Air environment. Finally, in 2016, they started working as a Senior Systems Engineer for VAZATA and in 2023, they became a Senior Engineer for General Informatics.
Tim Schuh attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1992 to 1995. Tim obtained their ITIL Foundations v3 certification from the ITIL Foundation in April 2006 and their RedHat Certified Engineer certification from RedHat Software in August 2005.
