Joseph Baptista is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades, primarily at General Dynamics Mission Systems since May 2003. In the current role as Engineering Strategic Tools & Infrastructure Lead, Joseph partners with the IT organization to develop and sustain engineering tools aligned with the engineering strategy while articulating the enterprise technology vision. Previous roles at General Dynamics include Technical Documentation Services Manager, Engineering Manager, and various systems engineering positions where Joseph managed technical manual products for military contracts and led teams in product integration and testing. Prior experience includes a Tech Support Engineer role at Sun Microsystems and a CO-OP position at Hewlett-Packard focused on quality assurance testing for storage systems. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UMass Dartmouth, earned between 1996 and 2001.
