Zach Koch

Sr. Space Electrical Engineering Manager at General Atomics

Zach Koch has extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the aerospace and military sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Space Electrical Engineering Manager at General Atomics since 2018, Zach leads a team that designs and executes electrical systems for satellite missions, overseeing crucial aspects such as Command & Data Handling (C&DH), Electrical Power Systems (EPS), and RF & EMI/EMC. Previously, Zach was an Electrical Design Engineer at AimLock, focusing on circuit design for military-grade weapons systems, and a PV Design Engineer at Sunrun. Early career experience includes roles at Purdue University, where Zach worked as a Research Assistant and taught electronics courses, as well as a position at Google/Titan Aerospace, designing high-altitude UAVs. Zach holds multiple advanced degrees in electrical engineering and sustainability from Purdue University and Technological University Dublin.
