Wesley Roberts is a Senior Manager in Opto-mechanical Engineering at General Atomics, where since May 2017, leadership has been provided to a skilled team specializing in photonics systems for various applications. In addition, Wesley serves as the chief engineer for a high-energy laser system, integrating efforts from a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Prior to this role, Wesley participated in the Leadership Development Program at General Atomics and held positions as Mechanical Engineering Manager and Mechanical & Project Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from 2007 to 2017. Earlier experience includes work as a Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman from 2001 to 2007. Academically, Wesley has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego and San Diego State University, respectively, and has also studied at The University of Western Australia.
