Martin Escobari is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate development. Currently serving as Co President and Head of Global Growth Equity at General Atlantic since January 2012, Martin also chairs the Investment Committee. Previously, Martin held the position of Managing Director at Advent International in São Paulo from July 2007 to March 2012. Co-founding Submarino.com, Martin served in various roles including CFO and VP of Business Development from 1999 to 2007, as well as CEO of Officenet from 2000 to 2003. Earlier experience includes working as an Investment Officer at GP Investimentos from 1998 to 1999. Martin obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
