Lauren Perez is a skilled professional with extensive experience in software engineering and education. Currently serving as a Manager of Learning Experience Design at General Assembly since March 2021, Lauren also holds roles as a SEI Product Advisory Board Member and Lead Instructor for a full stack software engineering immersive program. Previous experience includes Software Engineer II at Microsoft, Software Engineer I at Indigo Slate, and instructional roles at General Assembly. Lauren's background also features management positions focusing on operations, finances, and curriculum development, including roles at Pennington Creative, BASIS.ed, and Cartel Coffee Lab LLC. Lauren holds a Master of Education from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College.
