Alexander Lynch is an accomplished engineer specializing in product development and mechanical design with extensive experience in biomedical and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Gener8 since September 2020, Lynch has successfully designed and developed innovative microfluidic cartridge systems for disease detection platforms. Prior roles include Biomedical Development Engineer at NOVO Engineering, where Lynch led designs for electroporation systems and gastro balloon-inflating devices, and Mechanical Design Engineer at First Solar, contributing to the mass production of solar power components. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Medical Device Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
