Mirela Canic has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Assistant General Manager and PR at OMV. Mirela then joined Studio Moderna Fashion Group in 2007 and held various roles including Project Manager, Country Manager, and Managing Director. During this time, they were involved in setting up online projects, developing brands, and optimizing processes. In 2015, they moved to Petrol d.d., Ljubljana as the Head of Online Sales Channel, where they played a key role in developing the online sales strategy and digitalization strategy for the company. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at SENSILAB, first as a Regional Ecommerce Manager and then as an Online Brand Director. Their responsibilities included managing online platforms and digital marketing strategies. Currently, Mirela works as a Marketing Strategist at GenePlanet.

Mirela Canic's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the Vocational College of Business and Commerce Celje. Mirela studied Business and Commerce there and received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in 2003. In 2003, they also started attending the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management Koper, where they pursued a degree in Management.
