Emily Makowski is a Senior Scientist in the Antibody Engineering Department at Genentech, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Emily was a Graduate Student Research Assistant in the Tessier Laboratory at the University of Michigan from August 2018 to February 2023, where studies focused on pharmaceutical sciences. Emily's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The Ohio State University, completed in May 2017, and ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Michigan. Additionally, Emily served as a Student Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Labs at The Ohio State University from August 2014 to May 2017, supporting students in the Brunelli Laboratory.
