Eric Horstmann is a seasoned audio professional with extensive experience in various roles within the audio and film industry. Currently serving as the Owner and Immersive Mix Engineer at Immersive Lab since December 2019, Eric also holds the position of Regional Business Development Manager at Genelec Oy since November 2018. Prior to these roles, Eric contributed as an Audio Solution Specialist/Pre-Sales at Avid Technology from March 2014 to October 2018, where responsibilities included supporting sales in the Central region. Eric's earlier experience includes serving as CTO/Technical Director at Rotor Film Babelsberg GmbH from January 2012 to February 2014, where responsibilities encompassed the technical planning of Germany's first Dolby Atmos mixing stage, and as Head of Sound Department at The Post Republic GmbH from January 2008 to December 2011, overseeing a high-end cinema post-production facility. Eric began the career as a Sound Engineer at Elektrofilm Postproduction GmbH from January 2004 to December 2007. Eric's educational background includes studies at SAE Institute from 2001 to 2002.
