Richenda McFarlane is a Project Manager at GeneGoCell Inc. since February 2021, overseeing custom Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) projects, including design, analysis, and team supervision, with a focus on assay validation for GMP/GLP-compliant lot release testing. Previously, Richenda served as a Senior Research Associate, managing custom NGS assays and preparing samples for Illumina NGS. Richenda gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, demonstrating laboratory techniques in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, and at Thompson Rivers University, supporting introductory Biology and advanced Cell Biology and Genetics labs. Richenda holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and Biomolecular Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Thompson Rivers University.
