Matt Green, PhD, serves as a Strategic Lead and Product Manager at Genedata since January 2020, with previous roles as a Scientific Consultant. Prior experience includes a tenure at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI from June 2017 to June 2020, where Matt held positions including Product Owner, working on spatial transcriptomics integration into the Single Cell Expression Atlas, and Bioinformatician roles on the Human Cell Atlas and Biosamples projects. Earlier roles include Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham and a simultaneous Post Doctoral Research Fellow position at the University at Buffalo. Matt earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nottingham, after completing a BSc in Molecular Biology at the University of Sheffield. Additionally, early career experience includes work as a Travel Advisor at TUI Travel PLC.
