Nicholas Galaviz has worked in various roles within the field of mechanical engineering. Nicholas is currently employed at Genasys Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at 5th Axis Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer from July 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at KNUCKLEDRAGGER DESIGN, INC. from June 2020 to July 2021. Nicholas has also gained significant experience at SOLOSHOT, where they worked as a Lead Project Engineer from October 2015 to May 2020, as a Project Engineer from July 2014 to October 2015, and as a Research and Development Engineer Intern from August 2013 to June 2014.

Nicholas Galaviz, CSWP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Nicholas achieved this degree between the years 2008 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, Nicholas has obtained several certifications and completed various courses to enhance their skills and expertise in SolidWorks. These include certifications such as Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) and Certified Solidworks Professional Advanced in areas like Surfacing (CSWPA-SU), Drawing Tools (CSWPA-DT), and Sheet Metal (CSWPA-SM). These certifications were obtained from Dassault Systèmes, a leading company in 3D software design and engineering solutions. Besides, Nicholas has also completed several online courses on SolidWorks and related topics through platforms like SolidProfessor and LinkedIn. These courses cover a wide range of topics, including efficient modeling and design intent, surfacing, weldments, essentials for parts and assemblies, design for manufacturing, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and more. Nicholas's educational and certification history demonstrates their commitment to continuous learning and acquiring skills relevant to their field of expertise.
