Gabriel Jacobsohn has a diverse work experience, starting with an Engineering Intern position at ACME Parts, Inc. in 2015. In 2014, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they designed assignments for two freshman engineering courses. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant at ICON Technology & Process Consulting Ltd., where they supported a CFD based project with a new customer from start to finish. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they built and performed CFD simulations, developed and maintained OpenFOAM based CFD solvers, communicated with/supported industry partners, and created technical publications. Currently, they are an Application Engineer at Geminus.AI.
Gabriel Jacobsohn has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2013 and 2017. Gabriel attended Walter Johnson High School from 2010 to 2013.
