Kate Christian, MS, EMT-P, currently serves as an Agency Cardiothoracic Specialist at Gemini Mountain Medical-Arthrex since July 2023 and as the Owner/Founder of Macro & Co., a business focused on personalized 1:1 nutrition coaching, established in October 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Firefighter-Paramedic with the Eugene-Springfield Fire Department from February 2021 to April 2023 and serving as an Instructor of Record at the University of Oregon from August 2016 to October 2019, where courses taught included Exercise Physiology, Neuromuscular Physiology, Sleep Physiology, and Nutrition. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, an Associate of Science in Paramedicine from Lane Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Additional roles held include Wildland Firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and Operations Manager at Greenwich Street Investors.
