Gijs van Leeuwen has extensive experience in public administration and procurement, currently serving as Wethouder for Housing, Cultural Heritage, Spatial Development, and Public Space at Gemeente Zaltbommel since May 2018. Prior roles include Fractievoorzitter and Statenlid at Provincie Utrecht, and Senior Purchasing Manager at Intrakoop, the healthcare purchasing cooperative. Gijs has also held leadership positions in municipal councils, including Fractievoorzitter in the gemeenteraad of Houten, and has experience with various organizations in the energy sector.
