Saskia Ebbers currently serves as Wethouder at Gemeente Westerwolde since March 2022, overseeing portfolios in WMO, sustainability, and sports. In July 2023, Saskia became a Raadslid. Prior teaching experience includes positions as Docente Duits from August 2019 to July 2023 at Scholengemeenschap Ubbo Emmius, where responsibilities included formative assessment and targeted learning objectives. Additionally, Saskia was a Kartrekker for a renewed lower secondary program, focusing on individual learning needs and coaching methodologies. Previously, Saskia held roles as Sectiehoofd Duits at Carmelcollege Emmen from August 2013 to July 2019, and taught at Mondriaan College from January 2012 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include studies at Tilburg University from September 2023 to June 2024, HAN University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2013, and ROC Nijmegen from 2001 to 2003, attaining an mbo niveau 4 in system administration.
