Minke Lotens is a dedicated sustainability policy officer with extensive experience in spatial and environmental issues. Currently serving at Gemeente Westerkwartier since January 2019, Minke focuses on the development of the heat transition vision and execution plans for making villages gas-free. Previously, Minke worked as a project employee at Energieloket Groningen and held various policy roles in municipalities such as Gemeente Marum and Gemeente Franekeradeel, specializing in sustainability and environmental management. Minke's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Management from Het Van Hall Instituut and various certifications in sustainability and environmental processes from recognized institutions.
