Nico Molenaar is an experienced transportation and traffic management professional, currently serving as Asset Manager Verkeer en Vervoer at Gemeente Huizen since February 2022. Molenaar has also held the position of Intern projectleider Mobiliteitsvisie at Gemeente Uithoorn since March 2021 and operates as a Sr Adviseur Verkeer en Vervoer and co-owner at Verkeersatelier B.V., a firm focused on interactive processes in traffic and transport. As the owner of Molenaar Management en Advies since May 2006, Molenaar provides consultancy services to government bodies in the transportation sector. Previous roles include senior advisory positions with Vervoerregio Amsterdam and project leadership for various mobility visions and plans in municipalities such as Gooise Meren and Zandvoort, where significant projects included developing logistics strategies for the Formula 1 event.
