Marco Schermer has extensive experience in public administration, with a career at Gemeente Nieuwegein spanning from March 2009 to the present. Currently serving as Afdelingshoofd Support and Program Manager Lean, Marco has previously held roles including Hoofd Stadswinkel & Support and Interim Hoofd Stadswinkel. Prior to this, Marco worked at Gemeente Alkmaar as Afdelingshoofd Publiekszaken from August 2002 to March 2009. Marco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Economie & Recht from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1998 and 2002.
