Joris Janssens currently serves as Facilities Director at KSDiest since September 2022 and has been a Councilor for Gemeente Meerhout since January 2019. As the Fraction Leader for Christen Democraten (cd) Meerhout since 2019, Joris has held various roles within the organization, including President from 2016 to 2019 and Secretary at different times. Previously, Joris worked as an HSE Officer at KOGEKA from September 2016 to August 2022 and was involved in teaching electromechanics and safety at Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen from September 2004 to August 2017. Joris has contributed to multiple youth councils and engineering associations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and several post-graduate degrees specializing in prevention advising.
