Marleen van der Meulen currently serves as the voorzitter adviescommissie i.o. at Regio Stedendriehoek since October 2023 and as a Research Interviewer for the European Commission (Eurobarometer) at NIPO since September 2022. Additionally, Marleen has been active in local politics as Fractievoorzitter and Raadslid for Gemeente Lochem since March 2014, and holds a position as bestuurslid/voorzitter in D66 until 2024, where involvement in the landelijke LNV werkgroep DoPP focuses on sustainability discussions. Marleen's career includes serving as a candidate Kamerlid and directing L.M. van der Meulen from February 1992 to December 2022, along with a leadership role as voorzitter at Dierenbescherming from 2005 to January 2015.
