Ryan Palmen currently serves as Burgemeester of Gemeente Horst aan de Maas since April 2019 and as Voorzitter of the Raad van Toezicht at Bosgroep Zuid-Nederland. Previously, Ryan held the position of Burgemeester at gemeente Hilvarenbeek from 2010 to April 2019 and served as Wethouder at gemeente Simpelveld from November 2003 to April 2010.
