Evert Weys is an experienced public administrator, currently serving as the Burgemeester of Hilvarenbeek since February 2020. In addition to this role, Evert Weys holds positions as a member of the Daily Board for K80 and as a board member of Vereniging Brabantse Gemeenten, both since November 2022 and August 2016, respectively. Previously, Evert Weys served as President Commissaris at NV Aangenaam Bergen op Zoom and as Wethouder for the Municipality of Bergen op Zoom from 2006 to February 2020, overseeing economics, culture, and sports. Evert Weys has held various positions in local governance, including as a member of the municipal council and a senior policy officer in Municipalities such as Tholen and Roosendaal. Evert Weys holds degrees from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and HZ University of Applied Sciences.
