Thomas Heesters is currently working as the coördinator cluster communicatie/senior communicatieadviseur at gemeente Drimmelen since September 2019. Thomas is also the Voorzitter at Stichting Verhalis, a foundation that focuses on making history personal and giving heritage a face. Thomas is the secretaris bestuur at Npuntnul where they monitor and interpret the development of communication and social media. In the past, Thomas has held positions such as senior communicatieadviseur at Rechtbank Zeeland-West-Brabant, bestuurswoordvoerder at Gemeente Capelle aan den IJssel, and communications manager at FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V. Thomas also has a background in education, having obtained a drs degree in Taal en Literatuurwetenschap from Tilburg University.
