Saake Malestein currently serves as Coördinator Sport & Gezonde leefstijl at Gemeente Dalfsen since June 2023. Prior to this role, Saake worked as a Buurtsportcoach at Saam Welzijn, focusing on promoting sports and physical activity in the municipality of Staphorst from November 2021 to June 2023. Saake's academic background includes a Master of Science in Health Psychology and Technology from the University of Twente, complemented by experience as a Studentonderzoeker at both the Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis and Gemeente Dalfsen, where research focused on social inclusion and health-related projects. Additionally, Saake has a history of leadership and team coordination from a position as Vulploegleider at PLUS Retail and served as a Stagiair at the Sociaal wijkteam Zwolle during the educational journey at Windesheim, where a Bachelor in Social Work was completed.
