Erna Ekkelkamp is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles. Since March 2024, Erna serves as a Beleidsmedewerker Cultuur at Gemeente Dalfsen. Concurrently, Erna holds the position of Senior Communicatieadviseur at the Twente Board, a collaboration aimed at strengthening the economic position of Twente, which has been ongoing since February 2022. With a rich background in communications, Erna founded Erna Ekkelkamp Media & Communicatie in January 1992, providing advisory and writing services. Prior roles include Strategic Communications Advisor at Noaberkracht Dinkelland Tubbergen and text/communication roles at gemeente Hardenberg. Erna has also contributed to local journalism and community initiatives, including founding Vechtdal Leeft TV and being a board member at Stichting Vechtgenoten. Erna Ekkelkamp's educational background includes a master’s degree in psychology from Open Universiteit.
