Uwe Beckert is an experienced Solutions Architect at gematik since June 2018, with a diverse background in technology and scientific computing. As a Board Member of Rechenkraft.net e.V. and RNA World, Uwe contributes to distributed computing initiatives for scientific purposes. Uwe serves as CEO and author of the volunteer project yoyo@home. Previous roles include R&D platform architect at Redknee, focusing on telecommunications and mobile networks, and various guest student positions at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, concentrating on areas such as Peer-to-Peer Systems, Big Data Analytics, and Internet Security. Uwe has also pursued additional learning in Apache Cassandra, Apache Spark, jQuery, and bootstrap. Uwe holds a Diplom Informatiker degree from Technische Universität Dresden.
