Hakan Ordu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hakan began their career as a Watchkeeping Officer Intern at Kamer Marine in 2009. In 2016, they joined Denge Gayrimenkul Değerleme ve Danışmanlık A.Ş, where they worked as a Machinery Appraiser for one year. In the same year, they also started working at Gemak Group of Companies, where they held various roles including Pipeline Engineer, Project Planning Engineer, Senior Planning Engineer, and currently serves as the Budget Planning Chief.

Hakan Ordu completed their undergraduate degree in shipbuilding and marine machinery engineering at Yıldız Technical University, from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they studied maritime transportation and deck navigation at Kocaeli University from 2006 to 2008.
