Sara Cullen has had a diverse work experience, beginning with a Congressional Intern role at the U.S. Office of Senator Merkley in 2009. Sara then went on to become a UN Intern at the United Nations, International Fund for Agricultural Development in 2010. In 2011, they were a Cornell Blumenthal Scholar at Lawyers for Children. In 2012, they were a Fellow at Venture For America, and also worked as an International Field Research Consultant at Sathguru Management Consultants. In 2013, they worked as a Consultant at RPM & CO. In 2015, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence at Jab Brands. In 2016, they became Co-Founder of Plant Life Ventures, Inc, creating plant-based beverages. In 2017, they worked as a Food & Beverage Consultant on a freelance basis. Finally, in 2018, they became Founder & CEO of GEM, a consumer life science company creating healthier, smarter nutritional solutions.
Sara Cullen attended Cornell University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Development Economics and Near Eastern Studies.
