Meaghan Merrill has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Meaghan is currently working as a Senior Process Engineer at GelSight since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Process Engineer at GelSight from March 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining GelSight, Meaghan worked at Incom, Inc. from June 2019 to March 2021 as a Development Engineer, where they were responsible for developing and evolving polymer optic products, processes, and technologies. Meaghan also served as a Polymer Manufacturing Engineer II - Process at Incom, Inc. from October 2018 to June 2019.

Meaghan's previous experience includes working as a Production & Engineering Manager at International Ceramic Engineering from June 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they managed engineering and production activities, implemented a new part tracking system, and optimized productions for new and existing parts in collaboration with customers and quoting teams.

Prior to that, Meaghan worked as a Product Engineer at PCC Structurals, Inc. from June 2014 to June 2015. Meaghan also gained valuable experience as a TA and Student at Virginia Tech from August 2010 to May 2014.

Earlier in their career, Meaghan served as an Intern at Saint-Gobain Abrasives from May 2013 to August 2013. As an intern, they led an individual project that focused on determining optimal antioxidant additives, analyzing kinetic and mechanical properties of new materials using various testing methods.

Meaghan Merrill completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Virginia Tech from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Emory Continuing Education in April 2023 and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the same institution in February 2022.
