Wil Miller started their work experience in 2001 as a Regional Account Executive at Ashford Corporate Gifts. Wil then moved on to Global Recognition in 2003, where they worked as the Vice President of Marketing until 2008. In that year, they joined Geiger as a Senior Account Executive, where their responsibilities included designing and selling web solutions for employee incentive programs to large companies, providing turn-key merchandise and event rewards, and managing global fulfillment for company stores.

Wil Miller attended Salvatorian Prep from 1961 to 1965, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. Wil later attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1965 to 1969, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
